Tools used in eduaction purposes

In this month, I will be posting about what are the tools used in education purposes and how they are being used and how often they are effective in education system.
So firstly let me highlight on informative tool and what and how they are used.

I/  Informative tools means which provides vast information context to the learners. Where learners learn to integrate relevant ideas, learns to analyze information, develop information search skills and enhance critical thinking.
Example of informative tools used in education system are video, text and sounds. While learning and teaching we can integrate such examples provided above as it will make information more specific and boarder concept, the complex information can be delivered in simple route. We used to make Ppt slides to present our researched information and often we project our understanding or knowledge in video and ppt.

II/ Communication tool
Communication tools means tool which allows  to talk, do video conferencing, text, and chat no matter where they are. Communication happens when message is responded and analyze. In everyday of our life communication is happening either though text, video or audio chats. So therefore, in education system communication tools used are blogging, audio and visual aids ( smartboard are recently widely used around the world, the smart board has replaced several audio-visual aids teachers previously used in their classroom). The blog that I am using right now to update about my ict learning is also example of communicative tool.
This video talks about how smart board makes learning easier. we have smart board in our campus and I finds it resourceful as its ways too advanced and relevant. we just have to take responsibilities to take care and use well.

III/ Constructive tool
Constructive tools means tools used to manipulate information, construct their own knowledge or visualize own understanding. Example google classroom is the best constructive tools in teaching and learning and it is most appropriate tools.
This is a google classroom created by ourselves.

This video will teach you how to create and use google classroom.
In the class we created google classroom with the instruction provided from the tutor.
Google classroom is used to streamline assignment, boost collaboration, and foster communication. And provides a central location to communicate with students, ask question, and make assignments. Let me describe best features such as students can check their own work for recommended citations, teachers can scan student work for authenticity with originality reports, and due dates for the assignments will be reminded frequently to the students through email automatically

IV/ Co-constructive tool
Co- constructive tool is an approach, where it emphasis on collaboration and partnership working. Students can use constructive tools to work cooperatively and construct a shared understanding of new knowledge. Example of co-constructive tool are google site, doc, google meet etc... they are found in our person email if we have our own Gmail account and it is free.

Google meet video conferencing, we explore it for round 20 minutes and it is quite similar to the zoom app and it have all the features as zoom does. I found it easy to use and effective to be implemented into teaching and learning.

Google doc is a best examples of co-constructive tools because in this doc we can do the work together by inviting all the members and it is synchronize and we can have instant chats, comment and write up. Group work can be done so easily without having to gather personally. We can do teamwork from anywhere and finish it in time with involving all the members.
It is ease of collaboration, automatic saving and access our work from any device. And then students can edit documents online, while working with others and another benefit could be group members no longer have to wait for other group members to update their portion of presentation.

V/ Situating tool
Situate learners in environment to experience the context and happening. Example are simulation,( flight, farming surgery, environment, driving, history city, sim city, play station), Virtual reality ,CD-ROM.

Lets talk about simulation in here, when students use a model of behavior to gain a better understanding of that behavior they are doing simulation. students should predict and explain the outcome they expect the simulation to generate. Every effort should be made to make it difficult for students to become passive during the simulation.

This is the example how we explored simulation in the class. we tried pH scale firstly and did few activities on that. After that, we were given a task to create activities by choosing one simulation and I chose math simulation on Fraction equality. Actually if we happen to use simulation in learning my personal suggestion is that concept will be delivered easily and no complication will arise. Simulation makes the concept easier and efficient. In this we are putting ourselves or maybe students  into a condition or situation where they are going to explore on their own and predict the future behavior of a system and determine what you can do to influence that future behavior.
